Ms Taylor wrote: “That was why she was said to have an extraordinary talent with a voice that stood out if she was speaking or singing. “
Rachael Lillis, we all know her and love her as she has been part of so many great roles that she has portrayed,” Ms Taylor posted on her social media on Monday.
For three and a half years, she was our main Saturday morning and before and after school ‘voice,’ and an incredibly talented voice at that—not to mention her fabulous comic timing, and acting ability.”
She said Lillis appreciated encouragement she got while she was battling with cancer.
Responding to the questionnaire, Ms Taylor said: ‘This was more to the point; it was true and indeed, it truly made a positive difference.’
Her sister also stated in the same online site that had been used to fund her treatment that Lillis was dead of cancer.
“This was a complete shocker; oh, we are utterly devastated,” said Laurie Orr, who noted that the sister had developed early signs of an ailment last week.
“It pains me to lose my dear little sister, though she is free.” She spoke these words with a sort of consolation.
Lillis was born in Niagara Falls, New York, in 1978 and studied opera at university before becoming an actor for voice production.
IMDB credits her with providing voice work to 423 episodes of Pokémon between 1997 and 2015.
She also provided the voice for Pokémon character Jigglypuff, in the feature film Pokémon: Detective Pikachu, which was released in 2019, as well as in the Super Smash Bros video game series.
