Reports have it that Skai Jackson was arrested for an alleged act of domestic battery with her boyfriend, at Universal Studios in Los Angeles.

Jackson, 22 at that time, was arrested on Thursday August 8 when police were called to the CityWalk area of the park after both she and her boyfriend were observed to be arguing. The news was first broken by TMZ on Tuesday, August 13. The name of the partner has not been released as well; however, the outlet shared that Jackson allegedly assaulted her partner at least once.

Apparently, the security held the couple on site until the police came, then Jackson was arrested for misdemeanor domestic battery. Her Uber driver was charged after she called the police and was released on $20,000 bail a few hours later. The case will be forwarded to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office for evaluation to see whether charges will be pressed.

From TMZ, Jackson said that she never got physical with her boyfriend and as she spoke to the police, she explained that they are in the process of getting married and she is pregnant.
Peterson, the star of the Disney channel’s Jessie, has not disclosed the identity of her boyfriend. In February, she posted a Snapchat of her standing next to a man, but she covered his face with an emoji. “Introducing my new BF ,” she tagged in a picture of her holding a mirror.
